Director’s Background
Welcome to Day Bespoke Carpentry, where your vision comes to life, and my commitment is to complete every job, no matter how large or small, to an exceptional finish.
I have gained experience working within various environments: My passion for carpentry began during childhood and 3 years at East Surrey College provided the opportunity for this to be developed, leaving with a BTec level 4 distinction in Art and Design. Following that, the year Covid-19 hit, the market for outdoor entertainment areas opened up and I was fortunate to complete predominantly exterior jobs including fencing, garden gates, patios and constructing unique outdoor structures, providing the opportunity for clients’ imaginations to run wild. Interior work has included kitchens, flooring, wardrobes and internal doors.
Completion of a degree in Product and Furniture Design at the University of Plymouth enabled my skills and experience to advance further, graduating with a 2:1 BA Hons. During my time at university, one of my carpentry pieces was selected for display at the 2023 London New Designers Show, Business Design Centre, London. After graduating, my skills were recognised by Princess Yachts where I gained invaluable experience working in an industry with fractions of a millimetre tolerances and high-end clients, constructing furniture for the yacht interiors.
I have now ventured into developing my own business and very much look forward to working with you!
